GNTL

Privacy policy

Last updated 13 August 2026.

GNTL is run by Unbound Works LLC. Short version: we store what you type into the app and nothing else. There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

What we store

  • Your email address and a hashed password, to sign you in.
  • Your display name, intro text, and avatar, if you add one.
  • Your check-ins — which challenge, the date, and any note or photo.
  • Circles you create or join.
  • Your timezone, detected from your browser, so days start at your midnight and not in London.

No cookies beyond the ones that keep you signed in. No analytics service, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts on the page.

Who can see it

Your check-ins — including notes and photos — are visible to you and to people who share a circle with you. Nobody else signed in to GNTL can read them; that limit is enforced by the database, not just by what the app chooses to display. If you are not in a circle, only you can see your check-ins. Your display name and avatar are visible to other members, and your email address is never shown to other users. Reports are private; the person you report is not told who reported them.

Who else touches it

Three processors, each doing one job: Supabase stores the database and files, Vercel hosts and serves the app, and Resend delivers confirmation and password-reset emails. Data sits on servers in the United States.

Deleting it

Settings → Delete my account removes your profile, check-ins, and memberships immediately. Circles you created stay for the people still in them, without your name attached; a circle with no members left deletes itself. Backups roll off within about a month. To ask for a copy of your data, email us.
